The Adventures with Frisbee Rob began with a simple idea: what if the questions kids ask could carry them somewhere unexpected?
In every Adventure, Rob and the Wind travel through time to meet a Great Mind, explore a big question, and discover that understanding something often leads to even more wondering.
THE IDEA
Curiosity Comes Before the Answer
Kids are naturally curious. They notice strange things. They ask questions adults sometimes stop asking. They experiment, get things wrong, try again, and often discover something interesting along the way.
The Adventures are built around that instinct.
Rather than rushing toward the answer, each story makes room to notice, wonder, predict, experiment, move, talk, and ask another question. The Great Minds in the stories are not presented as people who simply knew the answers. They were people who kept looking.

MEET THE CREATOR
Frisbee Rob
Rob McLeod — better known as Frisbee Rob — is a motivational speaker, frisbee ambassador, educator, and world-record holder who has spent years using flying discs to help kids explore effort, curiosity, movement, and what they are capable of.
After visiting hundreds of schools and working with hundreds of thousands of students, Rob began imagining a different way to bring those same ideas to kids: through stories.
The Adventures with Frisbee Rob combines his love of frisbee, learning, history, questions, and storytelling into a world where curiosity can literally carry you somewhere new.
And yes — Rob really does spend a lot of time wondering why frisbees do what they do.

CURRICULUM & EDUCATION
Meet Kim Goosen
Kim Goosen is an educator of 14 years and currently works as a Consultant, Arts & Culture, English as an Additional Language with the Calgary Catholic School District, after previously serving as a K–6 New Curriculum English Language Arts and Literature Consultant.
Kim led the development of the Alberta Curricular Connections for The Adventures with Frisbee Rob, helping shape the Teacher Guides from the ground up and ensuring they are practical, meaningful, and grounded in real classroom experience.
Her background in literacy, curriculum, and elementary education has been central to building the educational side of the project — helping the Adventures remain story-first while giving teachers thoughtful, curriculum-connected ways to extend the questions, ideas, and discoveries into learning.
